Hey there! As a die-hard hockey fan, I can't help but feel a mix of excitement and frustration when it comes to the Toronto Maple Leafs' power play situation. With the talent they have, especially with four forwards making $10 million AAV, it's surprising to see them sitting at a below-average 19.8% success rate.

I think the recent decision to move Morgan Rielly back to the quarterback position is a smart move. Marner has incredible playmaking skills, and utilizing him on the flank allows him to leverage his shot and vision more effectively. The five-forward experiment was a bold idea, but it clearly didn't yield the desired results.

What really stands out to me is the underlying numbers. The Leafs are generating a ton of scoring chances and expected goals, which suggests that their power play is just a few tweaks away from being a dominant force. Once they find their rhythm and get that shooting percentage up, I truly believe they can become serious Cup contenders.

It's all about patience and fine-tuning at this point. With everyone healthy and Marner playing at an MVP level, I have no doubt that the power play will improve, and the wins will follow. What do you think? Are you as optimistic about their potential as I am?
