Hey there! Did you catch the game between the Rapid City Rush and the Wichita Thunder? It was quite a showdown! The Rush really put up a fight, especially in that third period with 23 shots on goal. It's tough to see them get shut out, especially when they outshot the Thunder overall.
Gabriel Carriere was phenomenal in net for Wichita, though. A 38-save shutout is no small feat! It just goes to show how crucial goaltending is in hockey. The Rush will need to regroup quickly as they head home to face the Kansas City Mavericks. That series is going to be intense, especially since the Mavericks were last year's runners-up.
