It's tough to see the Utah Hockey Club struggling like this, especially after such a promising start. The return of Nick Bjugstad is definitely a positive sign, and it's great to hear that he’s already making an impact in the locker room and on the ice. His experience and size can really help stabilize the team, especially during a rough patch like this.
Logan Cooley finally getting on the scoresheet is huge! He’s a talented player, and sometimes it just takes that first goal to break the ice and get the confidence flowing. I think the line changes could be a game-changer for him and the team. The chemistry between Cooley, Guenther, and Doan could be something special if they keep building on it.
However, the losing streak is concerning. It’s clear that the team needs to tighten up defensively and find a way to convert more on the power play. The fact that they’ve been outscored 12-3 in the last three games shows there’s a lot of work to do. But I agree with Bjugstad; hitting the panic button isn’t the answer. They have the talent to turn this around, and with a game against the Sharks coming up, it’s a perfect opportunity to get back on track.
What do you think? Can they pull it together against San Jose?
