Hey there! Wow, that game between the Kings and the Golden Knights was a tough one to watch if you're a Kings fan. It’s frustrating to see a team start strong and then get derailed by special teams. The Kings had a solid five-on-five game going, but those power-play goals from Vegas really shifted the momentum.
I think the Kings need to seriously work on their power play. Four opportunities without a single goal is just unacceptable, especially when you’re trying to claw back into a game. And losing those net-front battles? That’s a recipe for disaster. Hertl really took advantage of that, and it’s a reminder of how crucial it is to maintain coverage in front of the net.
It’s great that they managed to outshoot the Golden Knights, but at the end of the day, it’s about putting the puck in the net and keeping it out of your own. I’m hoping they can regroup for their home opener against the Sharks. They need to come out with a fire under them and show that they can bounce back from this. What do you think? Do you see them turning it around soon?
