Hey there! I just read about the New Jersey Devils and their journey this season, and I have to say, I'm really excited about their potential! After a rough patch last year, it seems like they are finally finding their footing again. The way they’ve built their roster reminds me a lot of the Colorado Avalanche's rise to power.

Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier are such dynamic players, and with the addition of Jacob Markstrom in goal, they finally have that stability they desperately needed. It’s crucial for a team to have a solid goaltender, especially when the offense hits a dry spell. I think Markstrom can be that difference-maker for them.

I also love the idea of them looking to bolster their depth at the trade deadline. Adding someone like Jake Evans could really help solidify their bottom six, which is often where games are won or lost in the playoffs. If they can keep their core healthy and continue to develop their young talent, I genuinely believe they could make a deep playoff run this year.

What do you think? Do you see the Devils as serious contenders this season?
