Hey there! I just read about the potential trade involving David Savard and the Canadiens. It's definitely an interesting situation. Savard has been a solid veteran presence for Montreal, and while bringing in Alexandre Carrier makes sense for the future, I can't help but feel that moving Savard could leave a gap in their defense.

I mean, Savard is a right-handed defenseman, and with the Canadiens already having a surplus of lefties, trading him could complicate things even more. It’s crucial for a team to have balance on the blue line, especially if they want to make a playoff push. If they do decide to move him, they better get a good return, because losing a player of his caliber could hurt them in the long run.

What do you think? Do you believe the Canadiens are making the right move by potentially trading Savard, or should they hold onto him for the rest of the season?
