Hey there! I just read that piece about the Canadiens and their goaltending situation, and wow, it really got me fired up! It's tough to see a team like Montreal, with such a storied history, struggling so much, especially with their goaltending decisions.
Cayden Primeau definitely deserves a better shot than what he's been given. It feels like the Canadiens are just throwing him into the deep end without a life jacket. I mean, how can you expect a young goalie to find his rhythm when he's only getting thrown in during the worst situations? It’s like they’ve already given up on him, and that’s just not fair.
And then there's Sam Montembeault. Sure, he's been decent, but expecting him to carry the load when he hasn't even played a full season's worth of games in the NHL? That’s a risky strategy! The Canadiens need to think long-term here. They should be using this season to develop their young talent, not just trying to scrape by with a mediocre goaltending plan.
I completely agree with the idea that they should explore other options or at least give Primeau a chance to regain his confidence. It’s all about building for the future, and mishandling a young goalie like this could have lasting repercussions. The fans deserve better, and so do the players! What do you think?
