Hey there! I just read about the Maple Leafs' decision to start Anthony Stolarz against the Ducks, and I have to say, I completely support the move. Stolarz has been phenomenal this season, and after that incredible performance against the Devils, it was only right to give him another shot.
I get the concerns about his past injuries, but at the end of the day, you have to ride the hot hand, especially when he's leading the league in save percentage. The speculation about his knee injury is just that—speculation. Injuries can happen to any player at any time, and it's not fair to second-guess a decision based on what might happen.
Plus, if the Leafs want to make a deep playoff run, they need to establish a go-to goalie, and Stolarz has proven he can handle the pressure. I think Berube made the right call, and I hope they continue to trust him moving forward. What do you think? Do you believe they should stick with Stolarz or give Woll more opportunities?
