Hey there! I just read about the potential trade between the Maple Leafs and the Utah Hockey Club involving Timothy Liljegren. It's definitely an interesting situation, especially with the injuries Utah is facing on their blue line.
Liljegren has been a bit of a puzzle for the Leafs. He has the talent, but it seems like he just hasn't found his groove in the lineup this season. I think a change of scenery could really benefit him. Utah could be a great fit, especially since they need defensive depth right now.
From the Leafs' perspective, clearing some cap space while getting a fresh start for Liljegren might be a win-win. It’s always tough to see a young player struggle, but sometimes a trade is exactly what they need to thrive. What do you think? Do you see this trade happening, or do you think the Leafs will hold onto him a bit longer?
