Hey there! I just read that article about the Canadiens and their potential trade options, and wow, it really got me thinking about the direction this team is heading. The trade deadline is always such an exciting time in the NHL, and for a team like Montreal, it could be a pivotal moment in their rebuild.
I totally agree that players like Christian Dvorak and David Savard are tough sells right now. Dvorak's injury history is a huge red flag, and while Savard has that championship experience, he’s not the same player he once was. It’s a shame because both have had their moments, but the Habs need to look to the future.
I’m particularly intrigued by the idea of moving Mike Matheson. He’s been solid, but if they can get a good return, it might be worth it. Plus, with the young talent coming up, they need to make room for those guys to shine. And Jake Evans could definitely be a valuable asset for a team looking for depth.
The Canadiens have a lot of decisions to make, and I think they should be aggressive in trying to offload some of those older contracts. It’s all about building a competitive team for the future, and sometimes you have to make tough calls. What do you think? Do you see any other players that could be on the move?
