Hey there! I just read about Joey Daccord potentially being a candidate for Canada in the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off, and I have to say, it's pretty exciting! Daccord has been making waves with his solid performance for the Kraken, and the idea of him representing Canada is intriguing.

With his stats this season, a 2.56 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage, he’s definitely shown he can hold his own in the NHL. Plus, the fact that he has dual citizenship opens up so many possibilities for him. It’s fascinating how the IIHF rules allow players like him to choose which country to represent, especially since he hasn't played for the U.S. at any IIHF-sanctioned events.

Canada's goaltending has been a bit of a question mark lately, especially when you compare it to the U.S. and Finland, who have some top-tier talent in net. Daccord could bring a fresh perspective and energy to the Canadian squad, especially with the likes of Crosby and McDavid leading the charge.

I think it would be an incredible honor for him to represent Canada, but I also understand the weight of that decision given his ties to Switzerland and the U.S. It’s a unique situation, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds! What do you think? Would you like to see him in a Canadian jersey, or do you think he should explore other options?
