It's tough to see the St. Louis Blues struggling like this, especially when you think about their past success. They were a powerhouse not too long ago, and now they can't seem to find the back of the net. Ranking 30th in goals for is just unacceptable for a team with the talent they have.
Pavel Buchnevich and Jordan Kyrou are capable of so much more, and it's frustrating to watch them underperform. The injuries to Robert Thomas and Philip Broberg have certainly hurt, but the lack of offensive creativity is alarming. It feels like they need a spark, something to reignite that fire in their game.
The power play is another area where they need to step up. Scoring just four power-play goals is a recipe for disaster. If they can't capitalize on those opportunities, it's going to be a long season.
I agree that major moves might not be on the horizon, but something has to change. Whether it's a shift in strategy or finding a way to get the best out of their top players, the Blues need to figure it out soon. Otherwise, they risk being stuck in this rut for even longer. What do you think they should do to turn things around?
