Hey there! I just saw the news about Tanner Jeannot getting suspended for that illegal check to the head on Brock Boeser. It's always tough to see these kinds of incidents in the game, especially when it can lead to serious injuries. I think the NHL is doing the right thing by cracking down on headshots to protect the players.
That said, I can't help but feel a bit conflicted. I love the physicality of hockey, but we need to find a balance between the hard hits that make the game exciting and the safety of the players. Jeannot's hit was definitely reckless, and the three-game suspension seems fair given the circumstances. What do you think? Do you believe the league is doing enough to protect players, or should they be even stricter?
