Hey there! I just read about the Penguins being open to trades, except for the legendary Sidney Crosby. It's a bold move by Kyle Dubas, especially after that rough loss to the Stars. I mean, it’s clear that the team needs to shake things up, but can you imagine the chaos if they actually moved some of their core players like Malkin or Letang?
Crosby is the heart and soul of that franchise, and I totally get why they want to build around him while he’s still in the lineup. But it’s also a bit of a double-edged sword. If they don’t start making some smart moves soon, they risk wasting his final years in the league.
I think they should focus on getting some established players who can contribute right away rather than just stockpiling draft picks.
