The Ottawa Senators have extended their newly acquired goalie Linus Ullmark to a four-year, $33 million contract. Ullmark, previously with the Boston Bruins and Buffalo Sabres, is now one of the top-paid goalies in the league, tying with Connor Hellebuyck for the second highest annual salary among active goaltenders. With an impressive 2022-23 season, where he won the Vezina and William M. Jennings Trophies, Ullmark aims to lead Ottawa back to the playoffs, something they haven't achieved since 2017.
As a hockey enthusiast, I'm absolutely pumped about the Senators' decision! Ullmark's Vezina-winning numbers speak for themselves, and his ability to find the back of the net (even as a goalie!) is just plain awesome. Ottawa's got a lot to look forward to, and I can't wait to see Ullmark between the pipes, hopefully leading them back to glory. Go Sens!
