Hey there! The buzz around the New York Rangers and their upcoming contract negotiations is super exciting! With players like Igor Shesterkin, Alexis Lafreniere, and K’Andre Miller all needing new deals, it’s a pivotal moment for the franchise.

I think Shesterkin is definitely going to reset the goalie market. He’s been phenomenal, and if he continues to perform at this level, he deserves every penny of that big raise. Lafreniere is also a key piece of the puzzle. If he can have a breakout season, I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up closer to that $8 million mark.

The Rangers have a solid core, and with the cap flexibility they have, it seems like they can keep their stars while also addressing any gaps in the lineup. It’s going to be interesting to see how they navigate these negotiations, especially with the potential of losing some players like Jacob Trouba.

What are your thoughts on how they should approach these contracts? Do you think they should prioritize one player over the others?
