Hey there! I just read about the potential trade for MacKenzie Weegar to the Winnipeg Jets, and I have to say, that would be a game-changer for them! Weegar is such an underrated defenseman, and pairing him with Josh Morrissey could create a formidable top defensive pair. The Jets have a solid roster, but adding a player of Weegar's caliber could really elevate their chances in the playoffs.
However, I totally understand why the Flames would be hesitant to let him go, especially since they’re in the playoff hunt themselves. It’s tough to balance making a push for the postseason while also considering future trades. If the Flames do decide to keep him, it could be a missed opportunity for the Jets, but they might have to look elsewhere to bolster their defense.
