Hey there! I just read about the Toronto Sceptres' roster updates, and I have to say, it's a tough break for the team with Natalie Spooner starting on LTIR. She was such a powerhouse last season, winning the Billie Jean King MVP and Forward of the Year. Losing her at the start of training camp is definitely going to impact their momentum.
And then there's rookie Megan Carter also on LTIR. It's always a bummer when a promising player gets sidelined right out of the gate. I really hope both of them can recover quickly and get back on the ice. Injuries can be so unpredictable in hockey, and it’s heartbreaking to see talent like theirs go to waste.
What do you think about the Sceptres' chances this season without these key players? Do you think they can still make a strong push in the PWHL?
