Hey there! I just read that piece about the Oilers and John Klingberg, and I have to say, I completely agree with the sentiment that they should steer clear of him. While Klingberg was a phenomenal player in his prime, the injuries he's dealt with, especially that hip resurfacing surgery, raise serious red flags. The last thing a Stanley Cup contender like the Oilers needs is to gamble on a player who may not be able to perform at the level they require.

Plus, they already have Evan Bouchard, who is a fantastic offensive defenseman and a key part of their power play. Bringing in Klingberg would just complicate things, especially since he’s not the same player he used to be. It makes more sense for the Oilers to look for a better fit who can complement their existing roster rather than adding a player who might not even crack the top unit.

What do you think? Do you see any potential benefits in taking a chance on Klingberg, or are you with me on this one?
