Hey there! Did you catch the Oilers' game against the Hurricanes? What a rollercoaster! Stuart Skinner was phenomenal, but it’s so frustrating to see the team let a 2-0 lead slip away in the third period. Connor McDavid was on fire with those two goals, but it just goes to show that even the best players can’t win games alone.
The Oilers have so much offensive talent, yet they struggle to finish games. It’s like they get complacent or something. I mean, Zach Hyman not being able to find the net after such a stellar season last year is just mind-boggling. They really need to tighten up defensively and figure out how to close out games.
And credit to the Hurricanes for their relentless comeback! Sebastian Aho’s game-winner was a heartbreaker for Oilers fans.
