Hey there! I just read about the Avalanche's recent game against the Canucks, and wow, what a rollercoaster! It's tough to see them struggle, especially after a solid win against the Predators. Thatcher Demko really showed up for Vancouver, didn't he? That guy is a wall in net! It's frustrating when your team outshoots the opponent but can't find the back of the net because of a hot goalie.
I think the Avalanche have a lot of potential, especially with players like MacKinnon and Rantanen. But they really need to work on their shooting lanes. Blocking 18 shots is no joke, and it shows how committed the Canucks were defensively. If they can find a way to create more space and capitalize on their chances, they could turn things around quickly.
And how about Mackenzie Blackwood? It's great to see him stepping up after the trade. He might not have been perfect against the Canucks, but he’s definitely a breath of fresh air compared to what they had before. If he can keep improving, the Avalanche could be a force to reckon with as the season progresses.
What do you think? Can the Avalanche bounce back on their upcoming road trip? I'm excited to see how they perform against the Sharks and Ducks!
