It's tough to see the Bridgeport Islanders struggling like this, especially with their defense being such a glaring issue. Allowing four goals in the third period is just unacceptable at any level of hockey. It’s clear that losing Isaiah George has had a significant impact on their performance. He was a bright spot on the blue line, and without him, the defense has really fallen apart.

The fact that they allowed 11 goals in back-to-back games against a team that was averaging just over two goals per game is alarming. It shows a lack of cohesion and talent on the defensive end. The Islanders need to figure out how to tighten up their defense, and it starts with everyone on the ice contributing. The forwards need to backcheck and support the defensemen, or they’ll continue to see odd-man rushes and easy scoring chances against them.

I think they need to look at their overall strategy and maybe even consider some trades or call-ups to bolster their defensive lineup. It’s a long season, but if they don’t make some adjustments soon, it could be a rough road ahead. What do you think? Do you see any potential solutions for them?
