It's always tough to see a player struggle, especially when the team is in a win-now mode like the Jets. Logan Stanley's performance has been underwhelming, and it's clear that the coaching staff needs to make some tough decisions. The penalties he took against the Maple Leafs were not just careless; they were costly and indicative of a player who might not be ready for the increased responsibilities he's been given.

The Jets have a solid start to the season, and they can't afford to have a player dragging them down. It's interesting to see how the organization has shown loyalty to Stanley despite his lack of production and the emergence of better options like Haydn Fleury and Dylan Coghlan. It feels like they are holding onto the hope that he will develop into the player they envisioned when they drafted him, but at some point, you have to face reality.

The modern NHL demands speed and puck-moving ability from defensemen, and Stanley's struggles in those areas are becoming more apparent. It's time for the Jets to make a change and give Fleury or Coghlan a chance to prove themselves. The team is in a great position, and they need to put their best foot forward to capitalize on this momentum. What do you think? Should they pull the trigger on this change sooner rather than later?
