What a thrilling game for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms! It’s always exciting to see a team rally back like that, especially with such a young roster. Alexis Gendron’s coast-to-coast goal was a highlight for sure! It’s moments like these that remind us why we love hockey—the speed, the skill, and the sheer determination to push through adversity.

I think it’s great that Coach Ian Laperriere emphasized playing smarter hockey. In the AHL, where development is key, it’s crucial for these young players to learn how to manage the game effectively. The Phantoms showed resilience, and even though they fell short in the shootout, earning that standings point is vital for their growth this season.

And let’s not forget about Eetu Makiniemi’s performance in goal! Making 30 saves is no small feat, especially in a high-pressure situation. It’s promising to see him step up in his debut. I’m really looking forward to their upcoming games, especially the rivalry matchup against the Hershey Bears. Those games are always intense and full of energy! What do you think about the Phantoms' chances moving forward?
