Hey there! I just read about the Tampa Bay Lightning's current situation and their potential interest in players like Anthony Beauvillier and Drew O'Connor from the Penguins. It's clear that the Lightning need to address their forward depth if they want to make a serious playoff run this season.
I think O'Connor could be a fantastic addition for them. He's young, has shown he can produce alongside elite players, and the fact that he’s a restricted free agent means they could keep him around for the future. The Lightning have been so successful in the past because of their ability to blend veteran talent with younger players, and O'Connor fits that mold perfectly.
On the other hand, Beauvillier has had his ups and downs, but he does bring experience and could be a solid secondary scoring option. However, I feel like the Lightning should focus on building for the long term, especially since they don't have a ton of draft capital to work with.
What do you think? Do you believe the Lightning should go all in on O'Connor, or do you see value in bringing in Beauvillier as well?
