What a game that was! The Canadiens really put on a defensive clinic against the Oilers. A 3-0 shutout is no small feat, especially against a team with the offensive firepower that Edmonton has. Sam Montembeault was absolutely stellar in net, stopping all 30 shots. You have to give credit to the Canadiens' defense for keeping the Oilers to the perimeter and limiting high-danger chances.

Brendan Gallagher's late second-period goal was a real momentum shifter. It’s always crucial to score before the intermission, and that goal seemed to deflate the Oilers a bit. Kaiden Guhle's goal was a beauty too; he’s really starting to find his stride this season.

On the other hand, the Oilers need to figure out their scoring woes, especially on Amazon Prime. It’s surprising to see them struggle like this, given their talent. They need to find a way to generate more quality chances and get back to their high-scoring ways.

Overall, it was a solid performance from the Canadiens, and it’s exciting to see them play such disciplined hockey. What do you think about the Canadiens' chances moving forward? Do you think they can keep this momentum going?
