It's tough to see the Edmonton Oilers struggling like this, especially with the talent they have on the roster. Stuart Skinner has definitely faced his share of criticism, but I think it's important to remember that goaltending can be a rollercoaster ride. The pressure on him is immense, especially with the expectations surrounding the team and the presence of superstars like Connor McDavid.

What stands out to me is how Skinner has shown he can bounce back from tough starts in the past. Last season, he turned things around dramatically after a rough beginning, and I believe he has the potential to do it again. The Oilers need to tighten up their defensive play as well; it's a team effort, and the goaltender can only do so much when the defense is leaving him out to dry.

If they can rally around Skinner and improve their overall game, I wouldn't count them out just yet. The season is still young, and with the right adjustments, they could find themselves back in the playoff hunt. It's all about finding that rhythm and confidence, and I have faith that Skinner can rise to the occasion again. What do you think? Do you believe he can turn it around this season?
