Hey there! I just read about the Edmonton Oilers' struggles with their penalty kill, and wow, it's tough to watch a team with so much talent face such a glaring issue. A 59.5% success rate is just mind-boggling! It's hard to believe they went from a solid penalty kill during their run to the Stanley Cup Final to this.

Mattias Ekholm's frustration is totally understandable. When you have players like McDavid and Draisaitl, you expect the team to be competitive, but if they can't stay out of the box or execute on the kill, it undermines everything. The fact that they can't make any trades to bring in a specialist just adds to the pressure.

I think the key for them right now is to focus on discipline. They need to stop taking those unnecessary penalties, especially in critical moments. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' late-game penalty was a killer. If they can tighten up their play and find a way to execute better, they might just turn this around. What do you think? Can they fix this before it derails their season?
