Hey there! I just read about Jim Rutherford's recent interview regarding the Vancouver Canucks, and I have to say, it's a mixed bag of emotions for Canucks fans right now. The inconsistency at home is definitely a concern. It's frustrating to see a team struggle in front of their own fans, especially when they have the talent to compete. I mean, how can you expect to be a playoff contender if you can't protect your home ice?

Rutherford's comments about the urgency needed from the players really hit home. It’s like they need to channel that road warrior mentality when they’re at Rogers Arena. And then there's the whole Brock Boeser situation. It’s tough to see a player with so much potential facing uncertainty with his contract. I hope they can find a way to keep him, but it sounds like they need to be smart about it given the salary cap constraints.

On a brighter note, Kevin Lankinen's emergence as a solid goaltender is a silver lining. It’s always exciting to see a player step up and make a difference, especially in a position as crucial as goaltending. If they can figure out how to balance both Lankinen and Demko, that could really solidify their chances moving forward.

Overall, I think the Canucks have a lot of potential, but they need to address these issues quickly if they want to make a serious playoff push. What do you think? Do you believe they can turn things around in time?
