Oilers Eyeing Two-in-One Trade for Center and Defenseman

Hey there! I just read about the Edmonton Oilers potentially looking for a two-in-one trade to address their needs for a center and a defenseman. It's an interesting strategy, especially with the depth they have at forward. I think they definitely need to bolster their blue line, and adding a tough center could really help them in the playoffs.
Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are phenomenal, but they can't do it all alone. If they can find a way to bring in someone like Mario Ferraro from the Sharks, that could be a game-changer. He’s a solid defenseman and would add some grit to their lineup. Plus, if they can snag a center like Luke Kunin, it would give them more options down the middle, especially with the injuries they’ve been dealing with.
The cap space issue is a real concern, though. It’s going to take some creative maneuvering to make it work. But if they can pull it off, it could really set them up for a deep playoff run. What do you think? Do you see any other players that might fit the bill for the Oilers?
