Hey there! As a die-hard hockey fan, I can't help but feel for the Edmonton Oilers right now. After such a promising run to the Stanley Cup Final last season, it's tough to see them struggling out of the gate with a 2-4-0 record. The missed opportunity to bring back Tyson Barrie is really starting to loom large, especially with their power play woes.
Barrie had a solid stint with the Oilers before, and his familiarity with the system could have made a significant difference. It's frustrating to think that they could have had him on a PTO for under a million bucks, and now he's contributing to the Calgary Flames, who are off to a hot start.
Evan Bouchard is a talented player, but it seems like he’s having a tough time finding his rhythm. The Oilers really could use a second offensive defenseman to help quarterback that power play.
