Oilers' Missed Opportunity with Tyson Barrie

Hey there! As a die-hard hockey fan, I can't help but feel for the Edmonton Oilers right now. After such a promising run to the Stanley Cup Final last season, it's tough to see them struggling out of the gate with a 2-4-0 record. The missed opportunity to bring back Tyson Barrie is really starting to loom large, especially with their power play woes.

Barrie had a solid stint with the Oilers before, and his familiarity with the system could have made a significant difference. It's frustrating to think that they could have had him on a PTO for under a million bucks, and now he's contributing to the Calgary Flames, who are off to a hot start.

Evan Bouchard is a talented player, but it seems like he’s having a tough time finding his rhythm. The Oilers really could use a second offensive defenseman to help quarterback that power play. It’s still early in the season, so there’s time to turn things around, but they need to make some adjustments quickly if they want to get back on track. What do you think? Do you believe they can bounce back, or is it going to be a long season for them?
