Hey there! I just read about the potential for the Edmonton Oilers to claim Dante Fabbro off waivers, and I have to say, I think it’s a move worth considering. The Oilers have been struggling with defensive depth, and Fabbro could really bring some much-needed stability to their blue line.

I mean, just look at his track record! He’s been effective even in tough situations, and it’s surprising that Nashville has let him go. Pairing him with Darnell Nurse could create a solid defensive duo that could help the Oilers make a push for the playoffs.

Sure, there are cap challenges to consider, especially with Evander Kane’s return looming, but as one fan pointed out, accruing cap space doesn’t mean much if the team isn’t in the postseason. The risk of claiming Fabbro seems low compared to the potential reward. If they can figure out the cap situation, it could be a game-changer for them.

What do you think? Should the Oilers take the plunge and claim him?
