Blackhawks Struggle in Sorensen's Coaching Debut

Hey there! It’s tough to see the Blackhawks struggling like this, especially with the coaching change. Anders Sorensen stepping in as the first Swedish-born head coach in NHL history is a big deal, but it’s clear he has a mountain to climb. The lack of offense is alarming, and only 14 shots on goal in a game? That’s just not going to cut it in the NHL.
I think the team needs to find its identity quickly. It’s great that Foligno mentioned they had some good moments in the first period, but they need to sustain that energy throughout the game. The defensive strategy seems to be a work in progress, and with Mrazek out, they really need to tighten up.
I’m curious to see how they perform on this upcoming road trip. Facing the Rangers is no easy task, but maybe a change of scenery will spark something in the team. What do you think? Can they turn it around, or are we looking at a long season ahead?
