Hey there! As a die-hard hockey fan, I can't help but feel the weight of John Tavares' absence on the Maple Leafs. He’s such a crucial part of their offense and leadership. It’s not just about the goals he scores; it’s the way he plays the game—his physicality, his ability to win battles, and his knack for being in the right place at the right time.

I think it’s going to be a real test for Auston Matthews to step up and carry the load. He’s shown he can dominate, but can he do it consistently against top competition without Tavares by his side? The pressure is definitely on him, and I’m excited to see how he responds.

Max Domi stepping into a center role could be interesting. He has the potential to bring some offensive spark, but the depth scoring is going to be critical. The bottom six really needs to step up and contribute if they want to weather this storm. It’s a pivotal moment for the Leafs, and I’m curious to see how they adapt.

What do you think? Can they pull it off without Tavares, or is this going to expose some weaknesses in their lineup?
