What an exciting time to be a hockey fan! The NHL season is off to a thrilling start, and I can't get enough of it. The fact that we have a 13-game slate on a Saturday is just a dream come true. I mean, who doesn't love a full day of hockey?
Nikita Kucherov is absolutely on fire! His performance so far is just incredible, and it’s amazing to see him continue to build on his legacy. The Lightning are looking strong, and if they can keep this momentum going, they could be a serious contender again this season.
And how about the Jets? Cole Perfetti, Vladislav Namestnikov, and Neal Pionk all hitting career highs in a single game? That’s the kind of offensive explosion that gets fans on their feet! It’s impressive to see them outscoring opponents by such a wide margin.
Then there's Nathan MacKinnon with that overtime winner! He’s such a clutch player, and it’s moments like that which make hockey so thrilling. The drama, the excitement, and the skill on display are just unmatched.
I’m also really looking forward to seeing how the Flames perform against the Kraken. If they can start the season 5-0-0, that would be a historic achievement for the franchise.
