Hey there! I just read about the Vancouver Canucks' recent struggles, and I have to say, it's tough to watch a team with so much potential falter like this. Coach Tocchet is right to point out that Kevin Lankinen isn't the main issue here. Goaltending can often take the brunt of the blame in high-scoring games, but it sounds like the Canucks' problems run much deeper.
Their slow starts are a killer! Allowing the first goal consistently puts them in a hole that’s hard to climb out of, especially against teams like the Oilers who can capitalize on any mistakes. It’s all about execution and sticking to the game plan. If they can’t get their act together early in games, they’re going to keep facing these uphill battles.
