Wow, what a game for the Maple Leafs! It's tough to see them struggle like that, especially after a strong win against the Lightning. The Blue Jackets really took advantage of a flat Toronto squad, and it’s concerning to see the first line, especially Matthews and Marner, not performing at their usual level.
Hildeby’s performance in net was definitely a learning experience, but it’s crucial for him to bounce back quickly. Backup goalies have such a tough job, and with Woll's injury, he needs to find his rhythm fast. The team relies on him to step up, and I hope he can shake off that rough outing.
On a brighter note, Robertson finally getting on the score sheet is a positive sign! He’s been working hard, and hopefully, this goal will give him the confidence to contribute more consistently. The Leafs need all hands on deck, especially with their top-heavy lineup.
