Hey there! I just saw the news about Brayden Pachal getting extended by the Flames, and I have to say, I think it's a solid move for Calgary. Pachal has really stepped up since being claimed off waivers, and his physical style of play is exactly what the Flames need on their blue line.
It's impressive that he's already become a mainstay in the lineup, especially considering he was undrafted and had to work his way up from the AHL. Locking him in for two more years at that cap hit is a smart decision, especially as they continue to reshape their defense.
What do you think about the Flames' direction this season? Do you think they have what it takes to make a deep playoff run?
