Bruins Fire Head Coach Jim Montgomery 

It's always tough to see a coach like Jim Montgomery part ways, especially after the success he had in his first two seasons with the Bruins. He really did an incredible job, especially considering the loss of Bergeron and Krejci. The way he managed to get the best out of players like Coyle, Geekie, and Frederic was impressive.

However, it seems like this season just spiraled out of control for the Bruins. A power play percentage of 11.7% is just unacceptable for a team with their talent. The special teams have been a disaster, and that’s a huge factor in their struggles. It’s a shame because Montgomery had the potential to be a long-term solution for the team, but sometimes a change is necessary to shake things up.

I’m curious to see how Joe Sacco will handle the team moving forward. The Bruins have a lot of talent, and they need to find a way to turn this season around.
