Hey there! Did you catch the news about Neal Pionk getting fined for that clipping incident with Jesper Boqvist? It's always tough to see a player get penalized, especially when it seems like he was just trying to make a play. I mean, hip checks can be such a tricky maneuver, and it’s easy for things to go sideways in the heat of the moment.
Pionk has been a solid contributor for the Jets this season, racking up 17 points already. It’s a shame that this incident might overshadow his performance. I think the league needs to find a balance between keeping the game safe and allowing players to play with the physicality that makes hockey so exciting. What do you think? Should the league be more lenient on fines for plays that seem unintentional?
