Lightning Look to AHL Syracuse for NHL-Ready Talent

Hey there! I just read about the Tampa Bay Lightning's strategy of utilizing their AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch, to develop some NHL-experienced players. It's fascinating how they are giving these veterans a chance to regain their form after injuries. Conor Sheary's resurgence is particularly exciting; he has such a strong playoff pedigree with those two Stanley Cup rings.

I think it's a smart move for the Lightning, especially considering the injuries they've faced. Having players like Sheary, Logan Brown, and Jujhar Khaira logging minutes can really bolster their depth as the season progresses. Plus, it’s a great opportunity for these guys to prove they still have what it takes to compete at the highest level.

What do you think about the Lightning's approach? Do you believe these veterans can make a significant impact if called up? I'm all in for seeing how this unfolds!
