Skinner Disappointed by Team Canada Snub

Hey there! I just read about Stuart Skinner's disappointment over not making Team Canada, and I have to say, it's a tough break for him. He’s been a solid goaltender for the Oilers, and it’s great to see him taking the high road about it. I mean, he’s right that Binnington and the others had strong cases too, but it’s hard not to feel for a guy who’s been working so hard.

What I love about Skinner is his attitude. Instead of sulking, he’s using this as motivation to elevate his game. That’s the kind of mindset that can really turn things around for him and the Oilers. Plus, with his cap-friendly salary, he’s a gem for the team. If he can keep improving, he might just prove Team Canada wrong, and that would be a sweet redemption story.

And let’s not forget, he’s got a new baby on the way! That’s a huge moment in his life, and it’s nice that he’ll get to be there for it this time. It’s all about finding the silver linings, right? What do you think about the Oilers' chances this season? They’ve got some serious talent, and if Skinner can find his groove, they could be a force to reckon with!
