Should the Red Wings Start Sebastian Cossa?

Hey there! I just read about the situation with Sebastian Cossa and the Red Wings, and I have to say, I’m all for giving him a start while the other goalies are out. This is a perfect opportunity for him to showcase his skills at the NHL level.

Cossa has shown a lot of promise, and getting that first taste of NHL action could really boost his confidence. Plus, it’s not just about him; the team could benefit from the spark that comes with a young player eager to prove himself. We’ve seen it time and again where a rookie goalie steps in and steals the show, and I think Cossa has the potential to do just that.

Even if he doesn’t perform perfectly, it’s a learning experience. The pressure of the NHL can be intense, but it can also be a great motivator. I believe that even a rough outing wouldn’t crush his spirit; instead, it could fuel his determination to improve.

What do you think? Should the Red Wings take the plunge and start him, or do you think it’s better to wait until the other goalies are back?
