Blues' Jim Montgomery Aims to Build Forward Line Chemistry

Hey there! I just read about the St. Louis Blues and their recent coaching change to Jim Montgomery. It's definitely an interesting move, especially considering the struggles they faced under Drew Bannister. I think Montgomery has a great opportunity to really shake things up and bring some much-needed stability to the lineup.

The focus on chemistry with the forward lines is crucial. I completely agree that keeping the Buchnevich-Thomas-Kyrou line together is a smart move. They have shown they can produce, and with the Blues struggling to generate offense, it makes sense to stick with what works. Plus, the young talent like Bolduc, Holloway, and Neighbours is exciting! It's refreshing to see a team prioritize development, especially when they aren't in the playoff hunt.

I also think it's wise to reduce the ice time for veterans like Schenn and Saad if they're underperforming. It sends a message that performance matters, and it could motivate them to step up their game. Overall, I’m really looking forward to seeing how Montgomery implements these changes and if he can turn the season around for the Blues. What do you think about the direction they're heading?
