Team USA's 2025 WJC Camp Roster Highlights Notable Omissions

Hey there! I just read about Team USA's camp roster for the 2025 World Junior Championship, and I have to say, it's exciting to see the mix of returning players and new talent. Trey Augustine in goal is a solid choice, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how Gabe Perreault and Cole Eiserman perform again.

However, it’s a bit disappointing to see some notable names left off the roster, like Lukas Fischer and Max Plante. Fischer has been a standout for the Sarnia Sting, and it’s a shame that injuries might have impacted his chances. Plante also had a strong showing in the USDP, and I think he could have added a lot to the team if he had been healthy.

The depth of talent in the U.S. program is incredible, but it’s tough to see deserving players miss out. Still, I believe the roster they have is strong enough to compete for gold again. What do you think about the roster choices? Do you think they have what it takes to go back-to-back?
