The fact that they have the lowest penalty-kill percentage in the league is alarming. Special teams can make or break a season, and it seems like they really miss the players who contributed to their penalty kill last year. I mean, when you have a power play that was so effective in the playoffs and now can't convert, it’s frustrating for fans and players alike.
And then there's Zach Hyman. It's hard to believe he hasn't found the back of the net yet this season after being such a key player last year. But I do see the silver lining in his recent play. If he keeps getting those shots and creating chances, it’s only a matter of time before he breaks through.
