Patrick Roy Reflects on His Time with the Avalanche

It's great to see Patrick Roy back in the NHL, especially with the Islanders! His journey has been quite the rollercoaster, and it's fascinating to hear him reflect on his time with the Avalanche. Winning two Stanley Cups with Colorado and then stepping into a coaching role must have been a huge transition for him.

I love how he acknowledges the past but also emphasizes his growth and appreciation for the coaching position now. It’s a testament to how much he values the game and the opportunity to lead a team. The fact that he still holds a special place in his heart for the Avs shows his deep connection to the franchise and its fans.

And can we talk about the Avalanche's success since he left? It’s amazing how they turned things around and hoisted the Cup in 2022. Roy's influence is undeniable, and it’s nice to see him supporting his former team from the sidelines. I think he’s going to bring a lot of passion and experience to the Islanders, and I can’t wait to see how they perform this season! What do you think about his coaching style and how it might impact the Islanders?
