Hey there! As a die-hard hockey fan, I can't help but feel for the Islanders right now. It's tough to see a team with such potential struggling like this. Lou Lamoriello has a reputation for being a shrewd GM, but I think it's time for him to seriously consider a retool rather than a full rebuild.
Trading Kyle Palmieri makes a lot of sense. He’s a solid player and could fetch a good return, which would help the Islanders build for the future while still keeping their core intact. Plus, giving younger players like Isaiah George and Cole Eiserman more ice time could really inject some much-needed energy into the lineup.
