Hey there! I just read about the Avalanche's recent struggles against the Hurricanes, and wow, what a rollercoaster of a season they're having! It's tough to see a team with so much talent like Colorado dealing with so many injuries. Losing key players like Drouin and Colton really puts a strain on their depth, especially when facing a powerhouse like Carolina.
I have to say, though, Valeri Nichushkin's performance is a bright spot! It's great to see him stepping up and finding his rhythm again. Scoring two goals in a tough game shows his resilience and skill. If he can keep this momentum going, it could really help the Avalanche weather this storm.
On the other hand, the goaltending situation is a bit concerning. Wedgewood just doesn't seem to be the answer they need right now. They really need Georgiev to find his form and be that reliable starter.
